Operation rules:

Step1: plug the power supply

Connect the adapter with the power source, then insert the end of the wire of the adapter into the power source hole of the 3D pen, the LED light is yellow, indicates the device is conductive and enter the mode of standby.

Step2: material/filament selection

Following step1,LED screen displays“PLA” or“ABS”, press the “material/temperature button” for the choice of material, it must be the material used actually, to avoid potential breakdown.(remark: the device can extrude wood filament, working at“PLA” mode).

Step 3: pre-heating

After selecting the material, press feeding button, LED light is red, indicates entering pre-heating mode in which LED screen displays real-time heatingtemperature .when LED turn to green from red, indicating the end of pre-heating process, then you can start to doodle with the pen.(it takes about 30seconds to pre-heat)

Step4: selection of extruding speed

Press speed control button to choice best suited extruding speed.(remark: up to 8 speed controls, the default one will be 5 setting, 8 is fastest. processing speed button is only working when stop extruding and LED light is green, in other circumstances the processing will be in vain.

Step5: filament loading

Insert the selected material into feeding hole at the end of the pen, press feeding button and the filament will be moved by the built-in motor. When the melted  material come out of the tip, it means the success of setting, you can start to doodle now.

Step6: creating your artwork

The device designed with 8 speed controls, please select a proper extruding flow before you doodle. Different color of the same type of filament has different melting points. Please minor adjust the temperature in time according to the extruding status. (relationship between melting point of material and temperature adjustment, please follow” temperature minor adjustment statement”)

Step 7: New extruding flow function

The device combines functions of continuous extruding and intermittent extruding. continuous extruding: press feeding button, the pen extrude and flow constantly, press again feeding button, the pen stop feeding, the pen will stop feeding and extruding automatically when continuous feeding is in function for up to 8 minutes. Intermittent extruding: double click feeding button and hold on the button then the pen start to extrude, release the button, extruding stop.

Step8: change/unload material

When LED light is green, press and hold on the unload button for 3 seconds, then release, built-in motor will start to reverse material. When material stop moving backward, please take out the material gently from the end of the pen, then press unload button, the motor stop reversing.(intermittent function will automatically stop when work up to 1 minute)

Step9: finish the works

When the drawing ended, please unload all the filament to avoid negative influence on normal use of the device in the future.(remark: the device is sturdy and awesome device, but just like all mechanical tools, it needs a break after one hour of continuous use, to prolong its life span.)

Warning!

Heat and burn hazard, the tip of the pen can be heated and burn hazard. In Operation  or within a short time after stop using, please do not touch the tip or surrounding area. Please warn the others around the operator do not touch the pen due to hazard heating. when not in use or before storing, please unload the material, unplug power socket, put the device in the pen holder,  in direct contact, the hot tip of nozzle will damage the painted surfaces, plastic, clothes and etc. The device is suitable for children over 8 years old and adults, children must be accompanied and monitored by adult when using the pen.
